Day One

Guy playing golf at Colbert Hills

Morning:

First things first, it's time to hit the course! Manhattan is home to 3 public golf courses. First, we have Colbert Hills. Ranked as the #1 public golf course in Kansas, their 18 holes feature some of the best Flint Hills landscape. Then we have Stagg Hill. Located off of Fort Riley Boulevard and Scenic Drive, this tree-lined course alongside the Kansas River has several challenging holes. If you're looking for a wider range of activities try Wildcat Fitness and Fun. Here they have a 9-hole golf course, driving range, 18-hole mini golf, and batting cages located all within Anneberg Park.

inside of goolsby's

Afternoon:

Once you're done on the course, head to Goolsby's in Aggieville. Goolsby's features duck bowling and 2 multi-sport simulators. If it wasn't your day on the actual golf course, you may just have a chance to redeem yourself on the golf simulators. Plus, arguably most importantly, they have a 30-tap (yes, 30!) self-pour beer wall! For another axe-illerating time, try your hand at Axe Throwing. Manhattan has two great axe-throwing locations, Axe to Grind in Aggieville and Manhatchet in downtown.

Bar at tanners

Evening:

Aggieville is the place to be for nightlife in Manhattan! Start by having dinner and drinks at Tanner's Bar and Grill. Then lead your friends on a pub crawl through Aggieville where you'll find over 20 bars each with its own signature drink! Try a sharknado from Mojo's Beach Bar or a mind-eraser shot from Rock a Belly. Head to the Ville's only Irish Bar, O'Malley's, for a Belfast bomb or mini beer shot. If you want to try something sweet you can find some of the best rum buckets in town at Tubby's Sports Bar or try a classic fish bowl from Fat's.

Day Two

Breakfast food at early edition

Morning:

Grab yourself a big breakfast for a big day at Early Edition. Known for serving up the best sizzle, their menu is packed full of all your favorite breakfast classics. From breakfast to lunch, they have the comfort food you need.

Fishing

Afternoon:

Get out on the water at Tuttle Creek Lake. Rent a pontoon, kayak, canoe or paddleboard from Wildcat Marina. There are also plenty of spots to go fishing around Tuttle Creek Lake. Like the Tuttle Creek Reservoir, with over 10,900 surface acres and multiple spots to drop a fishing line or put in a boat. Catch fish like crappie, white bass, catfish, largemouth bass and saugeye. There's also Tuttle Creek Willow Lake located just below the Tuttle Creek Reservoir. This is a fun place to fish with plenty of spots to cast your hook. Great for catching channel catfish, crappie, largemouth bass and trout. Located on the northeast side of Manhattan, Pottawatomie No. 2 is a great spot to spend a long afternoon fishing. Catch fish like black bass, channel catfish, crappie and bluegill. A great place to try out kayak fishing as well.
