The first Caturday in Manhattan is just around the corner. Believe us when we say there's nothing more exciting than experiencing Wildcat Pride radiate throughout the whole town of Manhattan on a game day weekend. If you happen to be among the thousands of fans headed to The Little Apple® this fall, you can count on making life-long memories with your friends and family. We've created a list of 5 experiences you must do while in Manhattan for a Game Day weekend.

1) Little Apple Pub Crawl Band - The best Friday night tradition.

The Friday night before every home game you can catch the Little Apple Pub Crawl Band in Aggieville, Downtown and even some East/West side locations. Starting between 6-7 p.m., these group of students bring their Wildcat Pride to some of the best restaurants and bars throughout Manhattan. The excitement is unmatched when you hear the band heading your way playing the classic Wabash Cannonball. Their enthusiasm lights up every restaurant they walk in and are sure to get you pumped up for the upcoming Caturday! Click here for the routes and approximate timings.

2) Wear your Purple

Manhattan turns into a sea of purple on game day weekends. Make sure you look the part and wear your best Wildcat gear. Is your closest lacking the purple attire? No worries, we have several spots to help you find that perfect game day outfit. Try the K-State Super Store, located at 520 McCall Road, this spot is packed full of all things K-State. Or try one of our many boutiques Downtown. Places like Bling Manhattan, The Boutique or Yee Haw all carry pieces that are perfect for game day. Don't forget about Rally House in Aggieville! They carry plenty of game day gear as well as shirts repping all your favorite local spots. These are just a few of many places. Click here for a complete list.

3) Tailgate

Every Caturday starts off with a great pre-party. Get your hot dogs, drink of choice and corn hole boards ready because tailgating is a must when going to a K-State Football Game. Parking lots open five hours before the announced kick-off time. Giving you, your family and friends plenty of time to host the best pre-party.

4) Watch the game

While being in Bill Snyder Family Stadium is a second-to-none experience you don't have to have a ticket to enjoy a Caturday in Manhattan. Manhattan has several sports bars that let you enjoy the game from the comfort of an indoor establishment safe from rain, heat or even snow! Complete with a delicious meal and an endless draft right at your fingertips. Check out our list of game day eats featuring some of the best places to enjoy the game and a meal.

5) Post-game celebrations

The experiences don't stop after the final play. Celebrate the Wildcat victory in Aggieville,  the bar and entertainment district located just across the street from the K-State Campus. Aggieville has been the place to be after 8 p.m. for more than 100 years, especially on a K-State Game Day. Or head Downtown and visit Manhattan Brewery Company or Arrow Cocktail lounge for upscale crafts and cocktails.
