Bleeding Kansas presents a difficult challenge for gravel cyclists who are already accustomed to pushing themselves to the limit. Hundreds of remote gravel roads await in the not-so-far-off Flint Hills. In minutes, steady traffic flows in Manhattan turn into isolated rides on challenging terrain in the rolling hills of eastern Kansas. The twist on Bleeding Kansas – a first of its kind series of timed segments – puts racers on the clock only for certain sections.
Rural roads mark the course, and coarse roads mark the terrain. Ride your first gravelduro and don’t look back!
