An installation by expedition geologist and artist Charles Lindsay, who directs the artist-in-residence program for SETI (Search For Extra Terrestrial Intelligence). The installation will delve into earth's geological and cultural pasts, using scientific equipment salvaged from space exploration archaeology. Specimens and artifacts in Field Station 4 provoke musings on human perceptions of time and space.

The pumpkin patch will be opening soon. Come visit a working farm, have tons of fun and make lifelong memories. Our giant slide is the best in the area so you gotta try it out. We have a hayrack ride, petting zoo, corn maze, human fooseball, tricycle tract, culvert area ,tire play area, game area, hook ring and so much more. General admission is $10 per person, 2 and under is free. Stay tuned for some new activities!

StoryWalk® Downtown starting at the Library. Take a walk with your children down Poyntz Ave. while reading pages from the book, Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes by Eric Litwin and James Dean. The StoryWalk is available anytime as a self-directed activity. After completing the walk, you can visit the library sometime to pick out a sticker or button. Co-sponsored by Downtown Manhattan Inc.

Join us for an online session of stretching, breathing, yoga poses and some fun stories with Ms. Hannah. Suggested for ages 3-5.

Parents or caregivers can view this storytime with their little ones to sing together, do some action rhymes, and hear a fun story or two. Each storytime has the same opening and closing songs to provide repetition and structure. Storytellers incorporate early literacy skills appropriate for ages 0-24 months to help your young child playfully enjoy language, melody, rhyming sounds, and motor skills. This is the perfect bonding time to incorporate into your day.

Go on a StoryWalk Downtown, starting at the Library! Take a walk with your children down Poyntz Ave. and nearby streets while reading pages from the book, Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes by Eric Litwin and James Dean.
After you read the book's first pages in the windows of the library, continue walking down Poyntz and look for the following pages in business windows. The StoryWalk is available anytime as a self-directed activity.
After completing the walk, you can visit the library or the Downtown Manhattan office for a small prize. Co-sponsored by Downtown Manhattan Inc. This StoryWalk will be available from September 1-30.
