Apollo 11 mission commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin landed the lunar module Eagle on July 20, 1969. Exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon landing by Americans and complements Manhattan Public Library’s summer reading theme, "A Universe of Stories."

Catapults, parachutes and a hang glider are just some of the inventions Da Vinci incorporated to explore the art of science.In an accompanying exhibit in the Mezzanine Gallery, AIB Food First; learn how AIB helps companies bring safe, high-quality food to the world, and play baker for the day on the Discovery Center's second floor gallery.
