The '30s and '40s were a golden age for murals in America when the everyday worker rose to the status of hero. Murals celebrate the work of miners, farmers and other laborers and cover walls in public buildings across the country. Preliminary ideas played out in sketches and nearly 50of these are displayed in this exhibition. On loan from Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, Vassar College.

K-State Music Teachers National Association Collegiate Chapter present a recital by Chilean pianist Paulina Zamora. Dr. Zamora will perform works by Mozart, Bach and Debussy. Paulina Zamora was educated at the University of Chile, the Eastman School of Music, and Indiana University. Her solo, concerto and chamber music appearances have taken Paulina throughout the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.
