Cornerstone for museum’s popular “Picturing Kansas” school tour program which integrates art, history, environmental and agricultural science, and language arts.

  2. Voices: Art Linking Asia and the West

    One section of the Seaton Gallery will highlight the back-and-forth exchange of aesthetics and ideas between East and West through objects in the museum’s permanent collection, made by artists who traveled between the two regions. This project collaboration between curator Aileen June Wang and University of Kansas art history professors Sherry Fowler and Maki Kaneko.

    Fans are invited to attend inaugural Baseball Night in Manhattan to spur momentum toward the 2019 BatCats season. The evening includes dinner, K-State baseball T-shirt and commemorative gift. Cash bar available. The evening portends an opportunity to meet Coach Pete Hughes and the entire K-State baseball team which is in preparation for season opener Feb. 15. Cats' first home game is March 1.

  1. Pete Souza: Two Presidents, One Photographer

    Pete Souza served as official photographer to presidents Reagan and Obama, and developed an abiding respect for both men. The artist’s intention is to have these images contribute civility and respect across party lines during lead-up to 2020 elections.
