  2. Voices: Art Linking Asia and the West

    One section of the Seaton Gallery will highlight the back-and-forth exchange of aesthetics and ideas between East and West through objects in the museum’s permanent collection, made by artists who traveled between the two regions. This project collaboration between curator Aileen June Wang and University of Kansas art history professors Sherry Fowler and Maki Kaneko.

  2. Empty Bowls 2019: Bowl Making Days

    Come make a bowl in the MAC clay studio. Try the wheel or build one from a slab. Volunteers will be available to lend a hand. Empty Bowls is a fundraiser to fight hunger in MHK. All proceeds from the event will be donated locally to Common Table and Cats Cupboard.
