Flint Hills Discovery Center celebrates the bison's history and significance and spotlights important preservation efforts to strengthen the species' very existence on the Great Plains of Kansas.

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Milford Nature Center provide an up-close look at some live native birds of prey. The day will end with an eagle watching tour at Tuttle Creek Lake. Winter eagle watching is particularly spectacular and January is an ideal time to view these magnificent birds. Buses will provide transportation for the tour from collection points the fire station located on the corner of Denison and Kimball Avenues.
