Exhibition explores complexity of borders and frontiers in the Midwest through the work by artists Artemio Rodríguez and Fidencio Fifield-Perez. Rodríguez's practice transcends the boundaries of printmaking, and engages the public through mobile printmaking studio/gallery, the GraficoMovil. Born in Mexico and raised in the U.S., Fifield-Perez explores issues of migration, labor, and the politicization of borders through the manipulation of maps, newspaper cuttings and paper.

K-State Prairie Fire Printmakers created screen-printed posters to address issues of democracy, freedom, diversity and unity relevant to the Living Democracy Project. This exhibit aims to promote dialogue among K-State students and serves as a setting for events hosted throughout the week.

"Waterplaces" is a suite of 101 drawings on vellum paper. The exhibition will also present the artist’s 2018 Friends of the Beach Museum of Art Gift Print, "Dancing on the Table." This work reflects Benson's interest in water sources that flow under ground such as the Ogallala Aquifer in parts of Western Kansas and surrounding states. Benson brings attention to this hidden natural treasure in a chine colle´ lithograph with gold leaf and coloring applied by hand.

Geary County Historical Society in Junction City is the location among seven Kansas communities to host this traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution, sponsored by Kansas Humanities Council. Water/Ways focuses on the numerous relationships between people and water. How has water shaped our history and traditions? How does it impact our daily life? What does the future hold for water?
