    Traveling exhibition of richly colored prints the first solo exhibition of Norma Bassett Hall’s work since her death in 1957. Hall was the only female founding member of the Prairie Print Makers, Kansas-based organization established during Great Depression to promote American artists’ work.   3. Culture Mixmaster Zhang Hongtu

    Zhang Hongtu trained as an artist in Beijing, China, lived through the Cultural Revolution between 1966 and 1976, and emigrated to New York City in 1982. Having now lived as long in the United States as in China, Zhang produces works that embody his hybrid cultural roots. His knowledgeable mash-ups of Chinese and Western cultures are sometimes amusing and always thought-provoking.

    Highly anticipated seasons for men's and women's programs preceded by tipoff event during Wildcat football weekend in Manhattan. Wildcat men won 25 games in 2018 and advanced to Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament, while women's team advanced to third round of WNIT and added MHK product Chrissy Carr. Pack Bramlage for night of hoops before Saturday's homecoming game.

    Activities include skill competition and dunk contest with special video presentations and performances by K-State pep band, Willie Wildcat and Classy Cats.

  1. 21st Annual Rob Regier Memorial golf tournament

    Annual tournament benefits K-State's Johnson Cancer Research Center in honor of Rob Regier, 1988 K-State pre-dentistry alum who died of cancer at age 26 in 1992. Hosted by Rob's family, 4-person scramble at beautiful Colbert Hills includes steak dinner and prizes. This year's tournament will be dedicated in loving memory of Rob's father Les, who passed away from cancer Feb. 10, 2018.

    K-State students show off parade entries and homecoming-themed floats through Downtown Manhattan and Aggieville; Rand Berney and Patti Berney are 2018 grand marshals. Parade proceeds to City Park for spirit-filled pep rally at Norvell Band Shell with pep band, cheerleaders, Classy Cats and Willie Wildcat. Homecoming event/overall winners for each category announced at pep rally. At 11 a.m. Saturday, it's gametime against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
