    Join fellow Wildcats and friends for the 2019 Homecoming Philanthropy 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, Oct. 20. Proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Manhattan. Participants may walk or run the course. Participants with strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome.

    Halloween is just around the corner! Come join for Aggieville's Spookiest tradition, Trick or Treat the 'Ville! On Friday, October 25th from 3pm-5pm participating businesses will have treats and candy for all! So grab your favorite costume, bring your family and friends, and come join the fun in Aggieville!
    Stick around afterwards for The K-State Homecoming parade starting at 5pm and The K-State Marching Band's Little Apple Pub Crawl starting at 7pm.

  6. K-State Homecoming Parade

    October 25, 2019, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ 3rd & Poyntz to Aggieville

    The parade route begins at Manhattan Town Center and will run along Poyntz Avenue from Third Street to 11th Street, then heads north along 11th until reaching Moro Street then going through Aggieville concluding at City Park. Jordy Nelson will serve as the grand marshal.

  9. Kids Kanvas: Halloween Cat

    October 26, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Uncorked Inspiration

    Each canvas will have the image predrawn in pencil on an 11" x 14" canvas. The instructor will start the children out with basic techniques then walk around and help the children individually while incorporating bits of art history/appreciation. The class will be taught by a K-State graduate with degrees in the visual arts who advocates for art education.
    A light snack will be provided for the children while they are listening to the story. Parents are welcome to stay or drop their child off.
    Ages 6 - 12. Younger children are welcome, but they prefer an adult stay to assist the child.

  10. Spooktacular

    October 26, 2019, 12:00 PM - October 27, 2019, 4:30 PM @ Sunset Zoo

    Trick-or-treat among the animals by visiting five candy trails sponsored by local businesses and non-profit organizations. Family-friendly activities throughout the Zoo, a costume contest, live animal encounters and a pumpkin palooza await each SPOOKtacular guest!
    Wear your costumes - adults and kids! Have fun and be creative, just remember you're walking through the Zoo. You can even win prizes for top costume during the SPOOKtacular Costume Contest each day! And be sure to bring your candy bags to collect your candy loot.
    Parking is available in the Zoo's main lot and the grass field to the side of the zoo. Community members can also park in Manhattan High School's lot, located at the corner of Oak and Westwood. It's a busy weekend, so please drive slowly and carefully.
    We welcome 6,000+ guests over the SPOOKtacular weekend. Purchase your tickets in advance to speed through the ticket line! Look for tickets to go on sale early October.

    Kids are invited to wear costumes and trick-or-treat in a supervised, safe environment. Everyone is invited to decorate their trunks and tailgate to create the haunted parking lot. Don't forget your own bags of candy for the hungry goblins! There are three trunk awards: Most Spooktacular, Most Interactive and Best Theme Trunk. Set up is at 5:45 PM.

    The Kansas State Speech-Language-Hearing Association Autism Committee will host Trick or Treat at Campus Creek Complex from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
    It is a safe environment for children and families with autism to trick or treat for Halloween. There will be games, snacks, trick or treat rooms, and a sensory room.
