Access to fresh air and open space is still extremely valuable to our well-being! In response to this need and changing times, we are starting to offer more frequent Open Trail Days on Wednesdays and Sundays, weather permitting, from 1-8pm.
However, there are some changes to our policies:
• Restroom facilities will be closed
• Maps and other info will be available at a kiosk in front of the Blue Sage Gallery along with hand sanitizer -- PLEASE TAKE WHAT YOU TOUCH AND DO NOT RETURN USED MAPS.
• Please practice social distancing between yourself and others while on trails.
• As usual, please leave pets at home when visiting us!

Join K-State Hospitality Management for the 24th annual Travel and Dining Auction, the largest student fundraiser in the College of Health and Human Sciences. The Travel and Dining Auction is planned and organized by hospitality management students. All money raised is used to support student scholarships as well as the Hospitality Management Club and the Hospitality Management Graduate Club.

We’re off to the northern Flint Hills for a day of history and fun. First we will visit Alcove Spring Historic Park, a stop along the Oregon Trail. See carvings in stone left by pioneers and historic wagon ruts at this natural spring location. Then, learn the epic story of the Pony Express at the Pony Express Barn and Museum in Marysville. Enjoy lunch on your own at one of several downtown Marysville restaurants. Finish the day with a tour of the Kansas Territory Brewing Company. Learn the brewing process from start to finish and sample some tasty beers. Round trip travel and tour fees are provided. Participants are responsible for lunch and beer sampling fees. Tour leaves the Flint Hills Discovery Center at 8:30 AM and returns no later than 6:00 PM. Age 21+ only. Pre-registration is required by April 2 at 5:00 PM. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be Saturday April 11th. We will have 5 time slots available starting at 8:30 to 10:30. This special treat includes a full country pancake breakfast, visit & photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, a special bunny craft and our activities will be open. The best part is tickets are just $15 per person if you are a season pass holder and $20 if you aren't, with children 12 months and under are FREE. Included is our activities: get a sneak peak of some of the baby animals for our Baby Animal Festival, giant slide, bounce houses, train ride, and so much more! Don't forget your camera!
