    This month, we will design a painted canvas with a design using embroidery floss. These look amazing and look like you bought it! Using a painted canvas, poke holes in your canvas and then use embroidery thread to create your image! We will provide 1 8 x 10 canvas 1 bottle acrylic paint 1 skein of embroidery floss 1 embroidery needle what you will need A simple design to transfer to your canvas! Some tape to hold your design to the canvas while you poke holes through the paper and canvas.

    Find out which of our wines and ciders pair best with hysterical laughter during a comedy night on the patio. This comedy tour takes top comedians who you've seen on TV and sends them out on the road to perform at wineries throughout the country-- and we are bringing them to Manhattan!     Last year, the inaugural Flint Hills Beer Fest was a sellout success! We are looking forward to hosting this event once again this year, the original date for the Beer Fest has been postponed. The new date is Saturday, October 24th at the Blue Earth Plaza. The VIP session will begin at 3PM, with GA starting at 4PM. The Beer Fest concludes at 7PM. Attendees can expect a great selection of breweries, fantastic food, live music, and more. Tickets go on sale March 1st. Last year both the VIP and GA sessions sold out, so get yours before they're gone!

  17. STEM Spooktacular

    October 25, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM @ Virtual - Zoom link will be sent after registration

    This family-friendly event will include creating a delicious mocktail with a surprising fizzy element. Then we will dive right into some spooky STEM! Families will be creating a “Matter Monster” and a “Glove Ghost” as we explore the difference between an exothermic and endothermic reaction. These experiments can get a little messy, so be sure to cover your work surface for the event! Registration price of $75 includes an experiment kit for ONE person to complete a Matter Monster and Ghost Glove, a special spooky drink, and a live Zoom step-by-step experiment with Dr. Evan Esquire from Science Explorers and Sunflower CASA. One-third of the registration is for the experiment kit, and the rest is a tax-deductible donation to Sunflower CASA. Additional Matter Monster kits can be purchased for an additional $25. Please order all kits when registering to ensure you will have what you need for the event.

  19. Spooky Online Trivia Night

    Trivia night it back! It's spooky and it's online! Costumes optional! Enter as a team of 2-5 friends, coworkers or family members working together to answer questions from three seasonally scary categories, a photo round, and bonus questions to break any ties. Registration is required, begins October 1. Only one team member needs to register for the event. Please place the number of people on your team under the group section of the registration page. This will be a Zoom event. Participants in different households on the same team, may establish a means of communicating, not through Zoom. The person registering for the event will be sent the Zoom link one week prior to trivia night. Yes, you will be home and can look up any answer, but what fun is that?! Winners will be awarded bragging rights! Registration begins 10/1/2020
