Kansas Natural Resources Conference

Emphasis toward need for protection and improvement of state's natural resources, connections with groups, agencies and people working for healthy Kansas ecosystems. This year’s discussion, “Celebrating Conservation Past & Present,” features Dr. Mamie Parker, former assistant director for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lance Irving (Sand County Foundation) and Howard Vincent (Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever).

Pre-conference workshop speakers from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and Kansas Forest Service provide overview of key concepts to engage landowners in natural resources outreach programs.
