Winter Blues

Posted on February 26, 2013 at 10:04 AM by Autumn Shoemaker

Winter getting you down? Kids tired of being inside? We've been looking for fun things to do to get out of the house and stay entertained. Check out some of our favorites below!

---for ideas like this... *The Forest Service rents cabins for recreational use. They're often booked during hunting season, but you can get them for just one day, build a fire, live like pioneers for a few hours. Take a deck of cards.
*Craft stores offer kid classes.
*Make soap.
For more ideas like this, visit this link!

Let the kids make paper snowflakes, online! No mess!

From the good folks over at della Voce... "Come down to the della Voce lounge all March long (Mon-Wed, Friday) and enjoy one of our signature brick oven pizzas and a half carafe of wine for just $10! Come as you are, also enjoy Happy Hour 405, Martini Night on Thursdays, or Live Jazz on Sundays. Keep it casual, Keep it Lounge, Keep it dV."

We are hoping for more snow so we can try this one personally...

Finally- want some more adult activities to keep you entertained? Try some of these ideas!

What are your favorite and creative ways to stay entertained indoors? Share ideas or pictures with us below!
