1. Grab a Coffee

No seriously, grab a cup of Joe at any number of Manhattan's premier coffee shops. In Aggieville, you won't have to walk far for great coffee, from Brother's Coffee Company to Radina's to the Public Hall to a long time classic Bluestem Bistro and even the Dusty Bookshelf caffeinated drinks are near. On the west side of the K-State campus find Arrow Coffee Co. Head even further west and find Paramour Coffee. The atmosphere of each Manhattan Coffee Shop is so unique you're sure to find one where you feel at home.

2. Tuttle Creek State Park

Varsity Donuts is the place to be for a sweet treat. Enjoy a unique atmosphere in the Aggieville district as you munch on your fat n' fluffy donut! Most of their donuts are from $0.99 to $2.99. Some of our favorites include the Maple Bacon donut, blueberry blueberry opal and the Scouts honor.

5.  K-State Insect Zoo

There are a number of education exhibits on topics including tropical trees, a tropical cave, an observation beehive, a mock kitchen and a freshwater display. The entrance fee to the K-State Insect Zoo is 3.67 tax per person. Don't miss the University Gardens in the same area, that is a free activity!
