The downtown farmer's market of Manhattan was established in 1979 and is one of the oldest markets in the state. Located in downtown Manhattan it serves the community as a place for fresh produce and locally grown food. At the farmers market you can find things like locally grown meat, honey jams, household decor, candles and fresh baked items.
The Manhattan Farmers Market is open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. To 1 p.m. April 20 through the last Saturday in October The Wednesday Market is open 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Each Wednesday starting in May through the last Wednesday in September. The Farmers Market is located in downtown Manhattan set up on the corner of 3rd and Leavenworth Street.
