Tuttle Creek Lake is located 5 miles north of Manhattan as the reservoir is situated on the northern edge of the Flint Hills. The lake area offers 12,000 acres of water with 100 miles of wooded shoreline. More than 16,000 acres of land surround the lake and have been enhanced to benefit wildlife and provide excellent hunting opportunities. The area is acclaimed for common species of turkey, white-tailed deer, quail, pheasant and waterfowl.
Tuttle Creek State Park is home to the annual Kicker Country Stampede, a music festival celebrating nearly 25 years of entertainment right outside of Manhattan!
