Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the state's most picturesque campus (Travel + Leisure).
Visit several historic buildings and a residence hall. Learn the history of K-State, the state's first public university. Stop by the newly renovated student union for a mid-morning snack and cup o' Joe.

The Gardens at Kansas State University K-State Botanical Gardens

When completed, this will be a 20-acre garden nestled in the heart of campus. Two completed acres feature a rose garden, 16-foot diameter fountain from native Kansas limestone, and the restored conservatory that houses a wide variety of exotic plants.

Kansas State University Veterinary School of Medicine

Tour one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the nation and learn how all species of animals are cared for in this state-of-the-art facility.

Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art

Open since 1996, Beach Museum is an example of postmodern architecture. Permanent home to 1,500 works of art collected over four decades by the university. The museum also features temporary exhibitions that focus on 20th century American art, with special emphasis on Midwest artists. Take part in a special art project, which can be arranged for groups of all ages (nominal fee).
