Sensational Shopping
IMG_9106.jpg

Ah, Manhattan. Shopping with the girlfriends, taking the boy out for new camping equipment… there’s more shopping here than can fit into a day.  Aggieville reigns as the oldest shopping district in Kansas. From dusty bookshelves to brilliant flowers and great dining, visitors who want to embrace the college atmosphere, or are K-State passionate will get a kick out of Aggieville. Park the car and enjoy the walk up and down Moro Street! Double check each corner and side street – there are local shops and eateries tucked into all kinds of nooks and crannies. Also, don’t miss Varneys- it’s the anchor point to Aggieville, and full of all things purple.

What’s in a downtown? Well in The Little Apple® downtown is headlined by the Manhattan Town Center; local businesses; hospitality; limestone architecture; history; camaraderie; activity; redevelopment; attractions; shopping; culture; dining and everything you need within walking distance. Put on those tennies and start popping your head into shops. We encourage you to ask for recommendations, sample what’s available, tell an employee a good joke, or ask about their favorite thing to do here.

Playing golf on the west side of Manhattan? Drop the shopper of the family off at Grand Mere! This up-and-coming part of town is quickly filling with local shops, salons and eateries. It’s all very walkable and a great way to spend a morning!

Seth Child Commons continues to be a force in Manhattan for those with money burning a hole in their pockets. Manhattan’s movie theater is located here, as well as stores to fit your home décor needs, home improvement, all-around shopping, and a variety of other retail venues. Bring your pet with you? We have plenty of boarding facilities closely located to here as well.
