Women of the Flint Hills - Apr. 18 - May 31
The Flint Hills is a unique ecosystem of Kansas. 26 women artists bring to us the beauty and inspiration they find in living in or near the various parts of the Flint Hills.

These women artists include painters, ceramicists, fiber artists, a sculptor and a photographer: Jennie Becker, Sylvia Beeman, Jane Booth, Margaret Buie, Donna Carrington, Kim Casebeer, Kathryn Jankus Day, Chris Wolf Edmonds, Marilyn Grisham, Lisa Grossman, Dana Hassett, Cally Krallman, Janice Lee, Peggy Lyon, Judy Mackey, Carol McCall, Joan Parker, Judith Sabatini, Sarah Sedgwick-Coble, Deb Schroer, Gail Singer-Farber, Linda Swanson, Glenda Taylor, Jean Terry, Ann Trusty, and Barbara Waterman-Peters.

Much more than only “traditional” landscapes, these art works show the experience of living with the Flint Hills in everyday life is as expansive as the Flint Hills themselves.

Greater Tuna - May 16 - May 18
The death of Judge Roscoe Buckner while wearing a 1950 turquoise Dale Evans one-piece swimsuit with "lots of cowgirl fringe" sparks the beginnong of the play with multiple subplots: Stanley Bumiller's attempt to walk the straight and narrow after a sting in reform school and the Smut Snatchers of the New Order's attempts to censor books, including the dictionary, at the local library. The play is an affectionate comment on small-town life but also a withering satire and is most notable in that two men play the entire cast of eccentric characters of both genders and various ages.
