    Manhattan High, K-State and Dallas Theological Seminary graduate Rick Meyer returns to Manhattan for book signing. “Running on Faith” reveals his Christian faith from farm, MHS team prayers and Boston and New York marathons. Meyer was introduced to running at 80-mile/4-day clips at Bill “Congo” Congelton’s 1983 cross-country camp. “I arrived as a bowed-legged, cowboy boot-wearing runner and left as a member of two 6A cross-country championship teams.”

    In the fall of 1987, Meyer accepted Congleton's invitation to be an assistant coach and contributed to a pre-state-meet video for 2014 MHS 6A state title team.
