Martin Luther King III lecture

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Week events feature a lecture by Martin Luther King III, with candlelight vigil to follow the speech. Jan. 19-26, Kansas State University celebrates the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1968 visit to K-State; this was the civil rights leader's last college speech before his assassination. MLK III is the eldest son of King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.
