Want "A Little More Summertime?" We’ll have summer in heavy doses during Kicker Country Stampede, June 20-22, 2019 in Manhattan. Jason Aldean will stir those old fires up and make his second appearance at the three-day music festival at Tuttle Creek State Park north of MHK. Aldean is the second headliner announcement of 2019 Stampede, and joins Old Dominion in an always crushing cavalcade of country tunes as summer kicks off in Manhappiness.
Aldean’s album “My Kinda Party” ascended to the top as Album of the Year in 2011, and he proved that “I Ain’t Ready to Quit” was more than a song from his cache of hits. He would follow with “Girl Like You” and “You Make It Easy” plus “Drowns the Whiskey” with Miranda Lambert off 2018’s “Rearview Town.”
His renegade music earned Aldean the label of Entertainer of the Year (2016-18) from American Country Music Awards. Aldean has topped the charts 19 times on Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jason Aldean to what is shaping up to be an epic lineup,” said Stampede president Wayne Rouse.
Epic for certain. Aldean awesomeness coupled with Old Dominion, whose “Happy Endings” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart,” will make for another crushing Country Stampede at the Gateway to the Flint Hills in Manhattan. And there’s more to come! Plus, don’t miss out on the $99 special for Stampede tickets for a limited time only. Details at Countrystampede.com.
