Another amazing McCain Performance Series season debuts in September with a smashing music lineup and spectacular Broadway shows like STOMP and “Legally Blonde, The Musical.” The annual lineup features soaring music renditions from Emmylou Harris, Diana Krall, Wynonna Judd and Judy Collins.

The entertainment lineup soars to life in one week -- Sept. 13 -- with a vigilette performance that stars Chick Corea accompanied by Carlitos del Puerto (bass) and Marcus Gilmore (drums). Corea has been a 50-year constant as master of the piano trio. The two-time jazz artist of the year has collected 21 Grammy Awards.

Two more September shows – Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah and the Fabulous Thunderbirds -- precede the highly-acclaimed Black Violin: Classical Boom Tour. Black Violin plays with an amazing energy in evidence at 2014 Bonnaroo with encore performances (2013-14 & 2018) at SXSW. The violin duo blends classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B and bluegrass music.

BV's latest release debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart (No. 4 R&B). These cats can grind, dish out high doses of rhythm and stir up audiences with classical notes, often all in one song. Wil B and Kev Marcus emerged in 2004 and set about merging the genres of classical and hip-hop, what Marcus has called “party music for different eras.” Look for the Fab Floridians on Oct. 2.

Monty Python’s “Spamalot” brings post-Halloween hijinks to outlandish levels of sophomoric humor for Holy Grail devotees. Wynonna & The Big Noise, “Frankenstein” and Stray Cat Lee Rocker build a head of steam toward holiday shows with The Mavericks and Judy Collins.

Series continues through May 2019
