Annual lighting celebration event hosted at Blue Earth Plaza
Make a holiday promenade to Manhattan and the annual Festival of Lights celebration. 2016 marks the fourth year for Manhattan Festival of Lights to launch the holiday season in Blue Earth Plaza, just a 5-minute walk from Manhattan Town Center. And oh, are the holidays ever special in The Little Apple. Just blocks from the vintage postcard, idyllic Downtown Manhattan area, visitors will find Blue Earth Plaza transformed to festive sights and sounds of the season.
November 25, 2016 lighting ceremony
This marks the fourth year for Manhattan Festival of Lights to launch the holiday season. The lights will glow for five weeks in Blue Earth Plaza, just a 5-minute walk from Manhattan Town Center, as the entire area is awash with holiday splendor right up until the New Year's holiday apple drop celebration in Aggieville.
November 25 7 p.m. Lighting festivities with Santa Claus December 3 1 p.m. Ice sculpting December 10 2 p.m. Family Christmas Carnival Relaxing carriage rides right outside Flint Hills Discovery Center,. Take in all of the holiday pageantry of Downtown Manhattan with hot chocolate for riders.
